Located in historic Bella Vista, The Mildred pays homage to the neighborhood by borrowing the name from the alley behind the restaurant - Mildred Street.

Famed throughout Philadelphia for a devotion to fresh ingredients and top-drawer American cuisine; The Mildred has long been a staple in the calendar of appreciative foodies.

The Mildred Restaurant in Sunlight The Mildred Restaurant recently closed as both Michaels (Santoro, Executive Chef/Owner & Dorris, General Manager) look to pastures new for exciting culinary projects and fresh inspiration.

Inspired owner-chef Michael Santoro may be taking his talent in a new and exciting direction but we nevertheless wish to extend this website to pay homage to the great work done by all the staff that made The Mildred a dearly loved staple of our community and Bella Vista dining.

Diners reap the rewards of this policy with dishes bursting with flavor and originality.

The Mildred Team All of the hard-working people who made The Mildred tick are a credit to the local community and the restaurant itself. They created memorable occasions for innumerable people and for that we are hugely grateful!
